As a transfer student, Giovanna has made it a priority to focus on her grades and school. She has made it her goal to make sure she was completely caught up in all her work that she had missed prior to coming to St. Mary's. As if it is not hard enough to make the transition of friends from one school to the next, but she has also been able to keep a high average in both History and Latin.

The young man chosen as the March student of the month has superb character. He exudes kindness and compassion and is an absolute pleasure to hav in class. This young man can be found in the front of the classroom, taking notes, engaging in classroom discussions, or helping a friend understand a question or topic. He greets his teachers with a warm smile and sincere hello everytime he sees them in the hallway. Classmates recognize the genuine nature of their colleague. New to St. Mary last year, this young man has quickly gained the reputation of being friendly and cheerful... an absolute pleasure to be around. This month we recognize Alex Im from the junior class as Student of the Month.
