Students are obligated to take the Archdiocesan High School Entrance Exam given in the fall. By selecting Saint Mary High School as a choice, test results and a record from his/her elementary school will automatically be sent to the school and notification of acceptance status sent on the authorized date. Students who decide on attending Saint Mary after freshmen registration, should contact the school for admissions information.

The test results are only for use by Saint Mary High School. The student must also request an Application for Admission, submit academic records for the past three years, and attend an interview with the Director of Admissions.

Transfer Students

Students wishing to transfer to Saint Mary from another high school must request an Application for Admission, submit academic records, and attend an interview with the Director of Admissions.

All transfer students admitted to Saint Mary High School are on probation for a period of one year.

Visiting Students

Students from other schools interested in attending Saint Mary High School are permitted to visit only when a parent/guardian makes an appointment with the Director of Admissions. Permission must be secured at least one week in advance of the visit.
