Over 42 graduates from the Classes of 2007 and 2008 returned to their alma
mater on January 9 to share their college experiences with members of the senior
class.
The program, developed by the Guidance Department, gives seniors an inside
look at what they can expect to face as they make the transition from high
school to college. "We feel this fulfills a two-fold objective: first the
students who came back were full of information for the seniors; second, they
also communicated with our faculty ways that we can stay on the cutting edge to
meet the demands of challenging college course work," said Ann Georgetti,
Director of Guidance.
Since ninety-eight percent of our graduates continue their education at a
four year college, our alumni are a valuable resource for us. "It is the epitome
of our alumni," said Michael Sheridan, Alumni Director, "they appreciate their
experiences here and want to give back."
