Cheerleading Update

October 23, 2009

The Cheerleading Teams excitement for this season continues to grow with each win that our Gael's Football Team brings home. The Gaels have brought their exciting homecoming week to a conclusion with the shutdown of North Arlington High School at the homecoming game last Saturday. The day called for some rough weather but the Gaels persisted through the cold rain with a blowout score of 33-0. The girls continue to practice hard enabling them to include new and exciting stunts at every game. This dedication of our cheerleaders peps up the fans even in those rough weather games. We are also getting prepared for our winter tryouts for the Basketball and Competition Teams. Check out flyers around the school! Our strength and our spirits continue to grow as our season progresses. Pump it up Gaels!

Saint Mary Cheerleaders are ready for 2009!

2009 Season

The 2009 Varsity Cheerleading Team has kicked off the year on high spirits. We have six new freshman additions which make the team a total of fifteen girls. After a week long Cheer Camp, in the hot month of August, the Varsity Cheer Team was pepped and prepped to start the season off right. A new an exciting Football Halftime routine was showcased at the most recent Fall Pep Rally on September 25th, before the Gael's first Home Game. The girls have been working hard to make this years' team stronger and more dedicated than ever before. The Varsity Cheerleaders are lead by Captain Morgan Hrnciar and our Co-Captains Ava Marie Valeri and Melissa Hernandez. Come and see our team spirit shine at each game! LETS GO GAELS!!!!
