Gael for a Day

Experience St. Mary High School for yourself

Come and spend a day at St. Mary High School as a Gael for a Day! St. Mary offers this program to 7th and 8th grade students. You will be paired with a current student and follow their schedule. Gael for a Day participants will not only receive a free lunch and other St. Mary High School memorabilia, but experience to help make an informed decision when choosing a high school.

To arrange your Gael for a Day experience, follow these simple steps:

  • Take a look at your calendar and select a few days that would work with your schedule.
  • Call or email Mr. Ziaya in the Admissions Office at (201) 933-5220 ext. 270 or to set up an appointment.
  • Mr. Ziaya will ask you a few questions to ensure that you receive the best possible experience by pairing you with a student who shares your interests.

On the day of your visit:

  • Arrive at St. Mary by 7:45 AM.
  • Please wear your current school uniform.  If your school does not have a uniform, please dress in business casual attire: dress shirts, slacks, blouses, dress, ties, and dress shoes.  No jeans, hats, or sneakers!
  • We will provide lunch.
  • School ends at 2:00 PM.

Visitors should enter through the main entrance and go to the Main Office on the left, where you will meet Mr. Ziaya and begin your day in the Gael Nation!
