Theresa O’Keefe is a 1973 graduate of Saint Mary High School and received her bachelor of science degree in Business Administration from Felician University. After enjoying a successful career in the banking industry working in various management positions for National Community Bank, The Bank of New York, and Blue Foundry Bank, she recently retired from her position as Senior Vice President of Retail Banking where she managed the banks 17 branch locations in Bergen, Morris, Passaic, and Essex counties.
Ms. O’Keefe is past President of the Rutherford Chamber of Commerce, recipient of the T.W.I.N. Award (Tribute to Women and Industry), past President of the New Jersey State Safe Deposit Association, and a volunteer at Oasis a haven for Women and Children, Paterson, NJ where she is currently piloting a Teller Training Program to help students learn a marketable skill set benefiting women throughout Passaic County.
