Girls Basketball Public vs Private Showcase

The St. Mary High School Girls Basketball team defeated Dwight-Morrow High School on January 4 in the Public vs. Private Showcase.  St. Mary won 54-49 in overtime.  Senior Christina Alberti won Most Outstanding Academic Award for having the highest GPA on the team.  Sophomore Adriana Cabrera won Player of the Game. SMHS Girls Basketball wins Eastern Chrisitan Christmas Ball

The St. Mary High School Girls Basketball team defeated Eastern Christian High School 27-17 in the Eastern Christian Christmas Ball basketball tournament.  Before facing Eastern Christian in the championship game, SMHS went up against Abundant Life Academy, defeating Abundant Life 27-17.

Matt Toman voted North Jersey Football Player of the Week for Week 7

After four days of voting, St. Mary quarterback/linebacker Matt Toman has been selected as the North Jersey Football Player of the Week. Dennis Hulse named 2019 NJ.com Coach of the Year

The 4-3 win over 19-time group champion Gloucester Catholic on June 6 at Hamilton Township’s Bob DeMeo Field meant Hulse had come full circle. He won a state championship as a senior at St. Mary in 1998.

SMHS beats Gloucester Catholic to win the NJSIAA Non-Public B baseball championship

St. Mary did all its scoring in the second inning against Gloucester Catholic lefty Anthony Solometo. The sophomore and North Carolina commit, who was masterful in last year’s group final, struggled with command and location. He threw 86 pitches and was lifted in in the fourth.
