Every student at Saint Mary High School shines in their own unique way whether it's academically, through a club, or a sport. One student in particular, junior Aiden Prybicien, has been shining in his own way outside the classroom helping people with Type One Diabetes. Aiden is currently a New Jersey Breakthrough Type One Diabetes Youth Ambassador and Type One Diabetes Advocacy Leader. He was chosen to make speeches and conduct learning labs for more than 250 licensed healthcare workers. He is currently filling up his summer calendar with plans to speak at different conferences. He will be conducting learning labs and speaking at the Pennsylvania State Athletics Society Educational Conference in Hershey, Pennsylvania as well as the National Athletic Trainers Association Educational Conference in Orlando, Florida all in June. On top of that, he was selected out of hundreds of applicants to attend in July the Breakthrough Type One Diabetes 2025 Children’s Congress event happening in Washington D.C. You can check out an interview with Aiden along with what he speaks about at each conference in the link down below. Congratulations to Aiden and the Prybicien family and keep up the great work.
